J'ai eu un gros coup de coeur pour Brandi Carlile en découvrant l'année dernière Give Up The Ghost, son dernier album en date que j'ai écouté un nombre incalculable de fois.

Pas mal du tout, lol première écoute et je crois que je suis sous le charme. Il suffit d'écouter et de se laissé porter en tout cas quelle voie magnifique. C'est un peu rock par moment.

Merci Thanu, je ne connaissais pas cette chanteuse, je suis également sous le charme, elle a une présence, un charisme, une voix fragile est puissante à la fois, bref je pense qu’elle est une vraie artiste bien loin de toutes ces bluettes que nous entendons en longueur de journée sur les radios… Je crois bien que je vais acheter un album d’elle sur Amazon.

J'aime beaucoup le titre de cet album, ça s'annonce très nature tout ça.

Named for the studio where most of the album was recorded Bear Creek Studios, which is housed in a converted early 20th century barn near Carlile s hometown of Seattle it features her longtime band mates: Tim and Phil Hanseroth ("The Twins," who co-wrote many of the songs with Carlile and play guitar and bass respectively), drummer/percussionist Allison Miller and cellist Josh Neumann plus Dave Palmer on keyboards and Jeb Bows on violin and mandolin. Drummer Matt Chamberlain guests on several tracks.
